100 DAYS

The count-down continues. In 100 days, I will be leaving the US and departing for Guinea.

And so it begins

Sunday, March 10. 7:37 PM. The exact moment that I officially accepted my invitation to serve in the Peace Corps for 27 months. Although that is far from the last step I take before going, it is probably the most important. I'm so excited and terrified as I'm sure anyone making this kind of decision is. Unfortunately I now have plethora of paperwork to go through including passport and visa applications, medical information, etc. You get the picture.

I hope to use this blog to document my journey both before going to Guinea and once in Guinea (needless to say, those posts will be few and far between).

I want to thank everyone for their prayers thus far and ask that you would continue to pray for me as July gets closer and closer and I prepare for what my be the biggest adventure of my entire life.
