Why?

Upon hearing that I've graduated from a top 20 university with a degree in Mathematics, many people are often surprised to hear that I am serving with the Peace Corps. The main reason is that I want my life to mean something. For me, that means that I am actively helping others improve their lives which will hopefully become a testament to the wonderful things God has done in my life. Less important factors include the incredible experience it will provide, the language skills I'll gain, and the opportunities it will open in the future.
